Today’s children are tomorrow’s rulers. In order to play a part in creating a God-fearing future, we targeted on cultivating the fear of God in the minds of children right from their childhood.Our children ministry involves Sunday School every Sundays where they are taught the Word of God in a way appealing and understandable by children. Exams are conducted periodically to ensure that the Word of God is implanted into their little hearts.
The prizewinners in the annual talent contest held by the Assemblies of God are proof of the talent God has blessed our children with. In addition to their Sunday School portions, children are encouraged to memorize Bible verses and recite them in the Sunday Worship. Our children take the pride in singing the offering song every Sunday, an event which every adult looks forward to. The name of our Lord being glorified through the mouth of these children is a joy to behold.
We have come up with multiple challenges to help the children grow more closer to God in a fun-filled and competitive way. Children are encouraged to participate in challenges such as completing the Bible in a year, memorizing Psalms 119, and publishing research work on topics like Trinity. We also have a 5-week challenge every 5 weeks. The challenges are innovative and exciting so that the children enjoy participating in them. Their pride on completing the challenges and the sense of achievement is a heartening sight to see. We have kids as young as 2 years old participating in these challenges.
